My cousin from Stralja had a couple of days off and decided to make beach days of them, so he came down to Fazanovo for a visit, and to catch up since we havent seen him in 15 years, and the last couple of days that we did see him were very brief.
We got notice of his arrival the night before, and he came around noon. After introductions to Chechi, Bori, and Mitaka, we headed out to the beach. So we headed to the Lozenets beach, which is always PACKED since I can remember it, and even so now that its become so popular.
Personally, I know of a little secret beach that we went to when we were younger, but we didnt even go to check it out because with the way the water has been rising the last 10 years in the Black Sea, its most likely gone as it was tucked into a cliff face and you had to climb down to it.
Anyway, we headed out, stopped and bought a little inflatable thingie, and went to find a good spot. We layed out our towels and started long conversations on life, the world, and everything in between. Afterwards heading to check the water.
There is nothing like going into the water with no fear of barracudas, sharks, or any other killing, biting, and evil creatures that you find in the water in Miami. Such freedome! Laying down on the floaty you just let the water rock you to sleep. Such relaxation.
A couple of hours later, and after we realized we were burnt to a crisp we headed up to eat a little lunch, and head over to Tsarevo to walk around and explore a little as we werent ready to head home just yet.
Up and down the streets, seeing this beautiful little town, was such a pleasure. There is nothing like walking down a street that you havent seen in so long, and with each step remembering a little of your past. A little of yourself. Absolutely incredible.
