details of my stay in the United Kingdom!

London

We came up out of the subway and Big Ben was right in front of us. I did the thing where you look straight in front of you then tilt your head back as you look up and up.

Ok, to get to London, we went to the rail station in Epping.  An all-day pass costs about six pounds.  A lot cheaper than the twenty-five pounds it would have cost to take the train.  And, since we had all day passes, once we got to London we could go pretty much wherever we wanted to because, well, all-day pass.

The thing to do, if you're going to do the sightseeing thing, is to get on a bus tour (twenty pounds/person).  We got onto a on/off bus tour.  On/off means you can get off the bus at stopping points, do your shopping, sightseeing, etc. then get back on the next tour bus (has to be the same tour company) and resume your tour.

Make sure you bring your camera, sunglasses (I know, sunglasses in England?), and water and a snack.  The tour we went on took about two hours to do.  Kinda expensive but definitely worth it.

Conveyor belt sushi!!! For those of you who love sushi like I love sushi this place is a good place for lunch. It's kinda pricey, so bring your pounds. The food was pretty good: I ate approximately my body weight of sushi while in Tokyo so I'm kinda jaded on anyone else's sushi but this place was pretty good. I would definitely eat there again.
