Salt Lake City - centrum i nasz domek. Gdy ju┼╝ si─Ö wyspali┼Ťmy - jetlag nie taki straszny jak m├│wili - poszli┼Ťmy na spacer po okolicy - najpierw trzeba by┼éo przej┼Ť─ç nad autostrada - sk─ůd by┼é wspania┼éy widok na otaczaj─ůce miasto g├│ry - potem do parku - do kt├│rego ludzie nie przychodz─ů na spacer - ale przyje┼╝d┼╝aj─ů autami hehehe. Temperatura i┼Ťcie pustynna - +37 C wi─Öc wracajac zaszli┼Ťmy do baru na picie - no i aby troch─Ö poodycha─ç zwyk┼éym 'ameryka┼äskim ┼╝yciem' ;)
Nawet mogli┼Ťmy zajrze─ç do sali koncertowej na pr├│be ch├│ru.
Nasz nast─Öpny przystanek to centrum handlowe albo raczej ulica handlowa zrobiona z bylej stacji kolejowej.
Salt Lake City - donwtown and our little house.
After we slept a bit too long - the jetlag wasn't that bad ;) - we wanted at once to see, what's a big deal with the 'new world' and we went out for a walk around our borough (which was Sugar House). The first nice thing was just after we left our house: the neighbour said 'halo!' hahaha he've never seen us before, but it was nice start! (then i was told by Gosia - my cousin - that the people here are very kind) We went over the higway (usually i wouldn't write about that kind of sight - like a regular highway - but this was a special one, cuz from the brigde over it - we could see the mountains) and then we found a beautiful park.
In the evening after Gosia came back home from her work - we went to downtown - for sightseeing and just to have an idea how big is the city and how far is here everything - for us - european guys - it's all different, you can't just walk to the town - you have to take your car, the town is one huge zone with little houses, no blocks, no skyscrapers, every one has his own house and a garden - it's nice, but this is the reason why it's soooo far to go anywhere.
We was walking around the Temple Square - the main place for Mormon's Church - it's so beautiful there, it's like a garden - so peaceful. We could also have a looke at the concert hall where the choir was practicing. The second stop was the former railway station and the mall made of it. So this was our first day in SLC.
