From Feb to Sep 06 I visited every country except Paraguay and the Guianas (no offence to Paraguayans!). To see an overview, click on the photo to the left then "View Trip Summary". Highlights were Patagonia (Arg, Chile), Cordillera Blanca (Peru) and kitesurfing in Is. Margerita, Venezuela!

Now this is more like it! BA does everything better than Santiago... the food's better, there's less smog, better night life, it's more developed, things cost half as much, and the people have more style. The only problem is the crazy hours... if you want to go out at night you have to wait around till 2am before anything starts to happen... gets a bit difficult when you're not in the habit of taking siestas.

After a few days of exploring the city I thought I'd better do something productive, so I took 4 days of Spanish lessons with IBL in Florida Av mall. What better way to prepare for a month in portuguese speaking Brazil....
