From Feb to Sep 06 I visited every country except Paraguay and the Guianas (no offence to Paraguayans!). To see an overview, click on the photo to the left then "View Trip Summary". Highlights were Patagonia (Arg, Chile), Cordillera Blanca (Peru) and kitesurfing in Is. Margerita, Venezuela!

8 Mar: stopover Sao Paulo

Transited through Sao Paulo for a day between 2 overnight bus trips. Enormous city and seems to have a bit more style than Rio.

Got re-acquainted with my Lonely Planet tht I'd left at Isla Grande - luckily Errol had brought it through.
