From Feb to Sep 06 I visited every country except Paraguay and the Guianas (no offence to Paraguayans!). To see an overview, click on the photo to the left then "View Trip Summary". Highlights were Patagonia (Arg, Chile), Cordillera Blanca (Peru) and kitesurfing in Is. Margerita, Venezuela!

4-7 Mar: Parati and Trinidade beach

On to Parati with Han, Christos, Alice and Kate (3 Poms). Seems we arrived for the town's anniversary party and there was a big ho-ha with live music etc in the town square.

Went to Trinidade beach on the 5th and to a waterfall/rockslide on the 6th. V fun - 20m of sloped rock that you slide dwn into a rockpool below. The locals do it standing up!
