24-27 Mar: El Calafate

Arrived at El Calafate on a flight from Ushuaia with my hostel buddies Laura (Arg) and Eva (Swiss). We soon met a third Ushuaia hostel buddy Michaela (Swede) and my harem was complete. Hired a car and drove to the Moreno Glacier on the Saturday. Spent about 6 hours there and saw some chunks of ice break off... It was all moderately impressive until one fell off the size of a block of apartments and made me blaspheme in front of some English kids.
Took a boat cruise to Upsala glacier the next day to see some more big chunks of ice.
