From Feb to Sep 06 I visited every country except Paraguay and the Guianas (no offence to Paraguayans!). To see an overview, click on the photo to the left then "View Trip Summary". Highlights were Patagonia (Arg, Chile), Cordillera Blanca (Peru) and kitesurfing in Is. Margerita, Venezuela!

21-23 July: Canoa

to the beach in Canoa with Tim from Oz to try my hand at surfing again. Stayed at a cracker hostel called Bambu right on the beach... was all good except for the food poisoning from dodgy chicken pasta at the hostel... after some lengthy arguement in my best spanish, i managed to get them to at least remove the cost of the chicken from my bill!
