Arrived on a public holiday at siesta time so unsurprisingly it was all very quiet. The original plan was to go onto BA for a spanish course starting the following Monday but I liked the look of a school in Mendoza so I started a course there.
Mendoza (1 Million inhabitants) is Argentina's primary wine producing region so the thing to do is take a winery tour, which I did on Wed afternoon to recouperate after the first day of spanish school. Thursday night went to an "Unplugged" concert of Mendoza's favourite band "Chancho Va"... they had a bit of a Pearl Jam type sound mixed in with a bit of The Beatles.
