Final day in Romania - train to Hungary

My last day in Brasov, and then an overnight train ride to Budapest. It was a very relaxed day, I spent a few hours in the "lounge" area at the hostel. Also did one last walk around Brasov, or at least the areas I got to know in the past few days.
I stopped to eat dinner at a restaurant a few blocks from the Black Church. While eating, a "rogue" wind blew through from out of the blue, knocking over all sorts of things & breaking drink glasses. There were a couple milder "aftershocks" (or whatever you'd call them) but really it was just that one strong gust that lasted 15-20 seconds.
I knew I was going to miss Transylvania once I left, I sort of hit my stride of this trip while there, and kept it up to the end, for the most part.
This was July 8 (Saturday), so I'd spend all of Sunday in Budapest, and the next official plan I had was to meet a friend in Prievidza, Slovakia on the 14th (Friday). So I had a few days to just wing it. On the train ride to Hungary, and most of the following day in Budapest (which you can read about in the next entry) I contemplated which route to go. On the one hand I wanted to see Ljubljana, Slovenia and Zagreb, Croatia; and on the other: Vienna, Austria and Munich, Germany. And there was a third part of me that thought I should perhaps head to Italy. So the mixture of leaving Transylvania and excitement of unknown planning ahead occupied my thoughts as I rode on the train as this day closed.
