Over the next few years we plan to travel the world and have given up our jobs and sold our home to fulfil this dream.

Moscow

We arrived in Moscow after dark and the walk from the metro station to our accommodation seemed dodgy as there were loads of people hanging around the local park drinking.  Little did we know the following evening we would be joining them.

We stayed at Galina`s Flat which is in an old Soviet block.  It is in a great location and is an interesting place to stay.

We looked around Red Square and St. Basils cathedral and were lucky enough to see an amusing dancing military band who played a large array of music with the watching crowds singing along.  Over the next few days we visited Lenin, The Kremlin, (which has the largest church bell in the world) and the cathedral of Christ the Saviour.

We also discovered a restaurant called Moo Moo's which was well priced and gave us a chance to try different types of traditional Russian food.
