Over the next few years we hope to travel the world as much as possible between jobs and have sold our home to fulfil this dream.

Busan

We got the Beetle ferry from Fukuoka to Busan.  We felt very sad about leaving Japan but at the same time excited about arriving in a new country.

The hostel we stayed at is called Blue Backpackers and is situated on the 13th and 18th floors in an apartment which had good views of the area.

During our time in Busan we visited Beomeosa Temple which was stunning.  The temple buildings are all covered in beautiful and intricate paintings.  There is also a relaxing circular walk near to the temple complex where we stopped and had lunch.

We also visited Gukje market which sells modern and traditional goods.  There are many interesting food stalls and noodle bars and we stopped at one for lunch.

Hi, did you buy tickets for the ferry ahead of time or at the terminal? we are about to go there and wanted any info you can offer. Thanks!
