The Boat - Vladivostok to Fushiki

We arrived at the ferry terminal at around 6pm in anticipation for our 8pm departure.  However, the immigration checks didnt begin until 11pm and by 1:30am we were the only people who had not been let on the boat due to Linda`s unstamped entry visa.

They assured us there was no problem even though they were suggesting both the passport and visa were fakes!  Luckily after a couple of phone calls & more paperwork we were allowed to board the boat and sit down for dinner at 2am.

The crossing was extremely calm which was lucky as the food on board was enough to make you feel sick, but we were impressed with our en suite cabin which even had a tv.

Remz says:
Wow! I never thought anybody else would take that boat! I made about the same journey, about a year ago... Was it as incredible for you as it was for me?
