I'm on a mission to climb all the 14,000 foot mountains in Colorado. Some of them are really really easy, some of them are pretty challenging. I will probably need a few years to get them all; I usually only get to 1 or 2 per week, but that's ok because I don't plan on leaving Colorado anytime too soon.

Colorado 14ers - Mt. Bross, Mt. Cameron & Mt. Lincoln

Here are the pics from my first group of 14er's.  I climbed these with Skinny Scott Eney.  There was a reasonable amount of snow but it was easy to stay out of avalanche danger.  There was only a short section where I would have liked to have crampons - a steep north facing snow slope that was pretty hard to kick steps into.  I crossed it by digging my ice axe really well and carefully kicking out as much of a step as I could before moving the axe.  It worked well enough, but took a long time.  Enjoy the pics.

Hi Rodney, I like your mission to climb all the 14,000 foot mountains in Colorado, how many are there and how many have you reached already?
