I already had some experience with visiting caves in
Buuuutttt…..The day started really slow for me, as Tere was at school and I hadn’t anything to do. Therefore I learned some Spanish, watched some TV and did some exercises, because I knew that we were going in the afternoon and that is why I had to keep myself entertained during the morning.
After Tere picked me up we went to the caves.
But the caves were amazing all the different stalactites and stalagmites were lit up with lights and as the group went deeper and deeper into the caves the bigger and better they became. It is very difficult to explain how amazing it was and hopefully the photos give a small impression. The nice thing was that they all had really funny shapes. One looked like a gorilla and another like an elephant. The best one was a combination on three stalagmites telling a story of 2 lovers who wanted to kiss, but their mother-in-law was against it.
After leaving the caves we were given the opportunity to do some abseiling. Sorry Mom, but I did it twice. It was really fun and cheap. I know I promised not to do crazy things, but I had to do it. You can see the movie I made during the abseiling. It is really nice. Making it the perfect ending for a amazing day.
