damn... this thing is bigger than my head.
Like I mentioned before, I loved Cinque Terre so much that I had to go back again. The perfect opportunity came up a few months after my first trip there when my cousins came to visit from California.  They were on a European cruise and Italy was their last stop.  They finished in Rome, then they came up to Milan to stay with us for a few days.  They were sick of roaming through cities, which was good because there isn't much to show them in Milan.  The Duomo, the Castello Sforzesco, and that's about it.  An urban trek was not an option.  Cinque Terre was ideal because it was close, relatively cheap, and BEAUTIFUL.  This time around, it was the beginning of July and it was scorching hot.  We vowed that we would go swimming, and when we saw how clear and inviting the water was, how could we say no?  We decided to do all the trekking on the first day and spend the next day swimming.  The night in between was spent over a tasty beer from Holland.  I forgot what the name of the beer was, but it was really good.  It was so good that I finished two of those massive mugs, and one of the smaller glasses (the smaller glass was a pint!) That was fun.  A little too fun that I have drunken photos from the train.  Mostly blurry due to the state of mind of the photographers.
