Looks like I haven't updated this for a long time...
Haapsalu, Haapsalu... What can I say about it? I guess I can show pictures as usual... It is a small town (as ALL of the towns in Estonia) 100km to the south from Tallinn. Situated on the shore of the Baltic Sea and that makes it a popular destination in summer for locals and close neighbours. The beach itself situates a bit away from the town. But it is still worth visiting, the town itself I mean. It has an old castle and nice little wooden houses, a pond and a wild shore near the Old Town. There is also a promenade along the sea where you can feed ducks, sit in the arbour or just take a walk. There is also a bench of Chaikovsky right there, I guess famous composer was sitting there when thinking about some of his tunes...
Last time I was there with a group of friends, so we did nothing special, just walked the streets, sat on the beach, climbed the castle walls and ate a huge pizze. It was fun anyway.
