Another great day skiing, stopped for lunch then back on the slopes. We were really lucky to make it back home though.
After eating we hit the slopes again but lost track of time so as we reached the bottom of the slope at Mossern 1590m and made our way to the lift, we saw the lift was shut and the guys were putting the seats inside. This wouldn't have been so bad if it was the Carnia slope as you can ski down this entire slope right back to the hotel, but the Mossern stop is one of those dead ends where you have to get a lift back up again to another slope. Touched lucky though as the guys were still there and gave us a ride back up to Madritsche. However when we got to the top, there was thick fog and 0 visibility. The guys pointed in some direction and told us if we skiied that way we'd arrive at the cable car which would take us back down (it shut in 10mins). So we set off in the direction they'd pointed in, except I couldn't see a thing and managed to get slightly lost on the way. Finally arrived at the lift (after a few wrong turns) where we caught the last cable car down - was real nice to be inside the cable car (you'll know what I mean if you've been lost in fog before).
