Sorry, its been a while, we have been really busy, we're both shattered and looking forward to out next stops, where hopefully we can relax a bit, i believe thats what most people do on their honeymoon isn't it, must remember to do that sometime soon!
What we been up to then, on Sunday we took a helicopter ride over to the beautiful Milford sound, stopping also on the beach at the west coast and on a frozen glacier! Truely amazing, not sure if it was the scenery we were most impresed with, or flying through valleys, pretty close to the helicopter! We've also been on a jet boat, speeding through the canyon's of the shotover river at up to 50mph! The guy was a nutter, we got seriously close to the walls, about a foot away! We've got the DVD to prove it to! Amazing fun. Doesn't look like we'll have time forr the canyon swing :-(, not enought time.
Oh yeah we've also done some skiing! We have had three days of skiing and our legs are feeling the pain! The views from the top are the resorts are amazing and Simon has been snapping his camera like crazy. We've been to Coronet Peak, which was very icy, and spent today and yesterday at the remarkables, snow has been better there and has been great fun. We've been doing some seriously steep runs as well, as said above, can hardly walk now, our legs are knackered! One more days skiing left, looking forward to Bali!
We're just about to head out for some dinner, you know what Jayne's like! 7:30 pm over here.
See you guys soon,
Simon and Jayne!
