We arrived in Hawaii on Tuesday evening, and took a stretched 18 seater Ford Excursion to our hotel. We checked in and went straigth to the bar. That lasted about 30 mins before the jet lag caught up with us and we went to bed.

We had our first lay in on WEdnesday getting up just in time for breakfast. Needed to catch up on some sleep. We spend the most of the lazing around the pool until we got bored and had to do something. WE caught a taxi to the base of Diamond head, a dormant volcane west of Waiki beach. We had a look at the information at the bottom of the hill, it was quite clear that the park closed at 6 oclock, and it took on average 1 and half to 2 hours to walk up to the top and back down, it was 4:30!! So off we went, we got to the top and saw amazing views of waikiki beah, truely breath taking. We walked back down and caught another taxi, we were back by 5:30, and very knackered!!

Today we went to pearl harbour, and had a tour around honolulu which was great.

We're just sitting in Honolulu airport, waiting for our flight ar 0010 to Sydney, to catch our connecting flight to queenstown, I think we get there saturday afternoon, strange that as its thursday evening. I think we're going to be a little tired to say the least!
