I lived in Ohio's capital for about 8 years. There are a ton of restaurants to choose from in the Columbus area, and plenty else to do besides. Here are a few of my favorites, plus a few other things here and there, in case you need to grab a bite or just want to visit C-bus. **a work in progress**

White Castle

You see some interesting things living in a college town whose major university has a student population of about fifty thousand. Sledding on cafeteria trays, massive pep rallies and tailgates, scads of college kids jumping into a near-frozen lake at the end of winter quarter, the occasional couch in flames. You know, kids being kids. Well, apparently the White Castle restaurant on North High Street does NOT want to put up with their antics. The clearly stated policy declares that only two students may enter at a time. What?? So, if there are three of you, is someone going to have to wait outside while you get your sliders? I could not stop laughing when I read this. I'm not sure how you even monitor or enforce such a rule, especially during peak school times. But hey, White Castle is serious business. Don't mess.
