The gang.
In September 2006, a group of friends went to Tanzania on a 3 day safari. In the three days we went to Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire and Lake Maynara national parks. We hired a 4WD for our group, through World Expeditions which was the budget choice booking through the Australian branch rather than European branch. In general most of the safaris are pretty much the same and spotting animals is to do with luck, not insider knowledge. Price difference between the different operators was purely to do with the quality of the hotels/tents provided. We found the accommodation to be better than expected. 3 days of sitting in a car is enough and also allows time to see everything. The only animal I missed that i wanted to see was a meercat :( But the pics still came out fantastic.
