staring to Segara Anakan, the lagoon

Many sides of Sempu weren’t explored yet. Some friend did trekking to 2-3 other beaches (they said those were beautiful even more difficult to reach). But I did enjoy being still in the east side. It was rocky area with strong winds, sound of splashing waves crashing the rocks, forceful - tremendous sea ahead, and sensation of being so small and fragile; scared and thankful I was at the same time.

Camping in Sempu was quite easy, if you need not to pee, bath, β€œetc” for 1-2 days ;p no lavatory in this isolated island. So.. Just wild your self and blend to nature.. Casting away, how we called this trip..




Jakarta – Surabaya
1 hour 10 minutes flight with Air Asia

4 hours by Bus/Car (passed Porong in late night)

Sempu entry ticket
3,500 IDR

Only Simpati cellular phone number has signal in Sendang Biru – Teluk Semut.
No any signal in Segara anakan

10 – 15 minutes crossing the sea by boat
75, 000 IDR/ boat (10-12 people capacity)

Teluk Semut – Segara Anakan
1-1.5 hours easy trekking
