Finally...

Yup, I'm arrived. After missing connecting flight in Atlanta, and without luggage (they probably decided not to take the same route as me), I am in San Diego, 500 West Hotel, and things are cool. The place is ok, and I already met some fellow europeans, mainly Italian, French and Swiss. More to come...
