Dubrovnik, Croatia - July 2007
Just back from Croatia and it was amazing... amazing town, amazing sea, amazing history, amazingly HOT. I am not sure if it was just the weekend we were there or if this was the norm but the end of July was very hot, even at night.
We were only in town for 3 days and made the most of it. Hit the beach in Dubronik, took a three island cruise that went to some more remote islands with so the clearest water I have ever seen. It safe to say that the Adratic is much cleaner than the med sea, at least along the italian coast. I can't say the nightlife in Dubrovnik was awesome, but there were some cool spots; East West being one of them, which is a beach club by day and an outdoor disco/restaurant at night.
Walking the walls of the old city was one of the highlights. The views were just beautiful. It was the perfect weekend getaway, 3 days was just enough.
