Travel Research
I decided to go ahead and research a bit about the areas we´ll visit, and then type a brief paragraph of the information I inhaled..
Florianopolis
A continental/island city with a population of roughly 390,000 people, Florianopolis boasts beautiful landscape, tastey food, tourism, nightlife, and good accommodations. Additionally, asides from its Portuguese heritage, this particular area boasts strong German and Italian influence as well.

Iguazu Falls
I talked to my friend Federico about Iguazu Falls. He told me, with a bit of pride, that Argentina has the most beautiful part of the waterfalls and that it´ll work out well for me since we´ll be viewing the falls from the Brazilian side [peering over to the Argentine side]. The falls themself derrive from the Iguacu River on the boarder of Parana [Brl] y Misiones [Arg]. There are over 300 falls with one specifically impressive fall called Garganta del Diablo. ``The name Iguazu comes from the Guarani words y (water) and guasu (big). The legend says that a god pretended to marry a beautiful aborigine named Naipú, who fled with her mortal lover in a canoe. In rage, the god sliced the river creating the waterfalls, condemning the lovers to an eternal fall.``

Sao Paulo
Residing in southeastern Brasil, Sao Paulo has a population of nearly 11 million and is consequently massive! People from Sao Paulo are called ´´Paulistanos´´ and ´´The city's motto is Non ducor, duco, which means "I am not led, I lead".´´ Among the various influences Sao Paulo boasts a large Italian, Spaniard, Portuguese, German, Arab, and Japanese influence.
