The Brasilian Mentality

I was very surprised to see the Brasilians’ reaction after their loss to France.  The fire crackers popped, the horns still honked, and the people celebrated.  Their reaction only reinforces the idea that futbol isn’t merely a sport to Brasilians.. but a way of life.  I feel comfortable venturing to say that Brasilians, for the most part, live less stressful lives than people in the U.S.  Unhappiness or stressful social situations seem to be unnecessary to them and easily avoidable.  This mentality was especially apparent in Floripa.  Perhaps that’s because Brasilians there are wealthier?  Regardless.. the alleviated attitude on life and the colorful culture generates happiness to each individual residing here.  There are many things to learn from such a unique culture as Brasil.
