Heading to Yosemite

My hotel for the night was in Oakhurst, California, about 45 miles from Yosemite National Park. The hotel, a Best Western, is huge and very nice. My room had 3 beds in it,with a private deck all for about $89/night. I was staying 2 nights there. Oakhurst is just one of those towns that exist because it is near a popular destination. There isn't even a bar in the town.

I did have a first in Oakhurst, ate at a Jack in the Box hamburger restaurant. Now this may not seem like a big deal, but being from Ohio, we don't have this chain in my state. Hearing the name Jack in the Box all the time in movies, especially ones based in California. Food was good, better than McDonald's, and just one of those weird vacation type moments I like to have. Nothing spectacular, but none the less meaningful to myself. Now I can check it off my list.
