Great place to stay in Ko Lanta, an island 90 Km south of Krabi.
You can do excellent scubadiving on this Island.
They have a private beach, rooms with private balconies and a good restaurant. You can watch the sunset from beach while enjoying one of the tasty cocktails from the bar.
Beachbar for the sunset
A 5 star padi diving centre arranging courses, daytrips and live-aboards. We took our padi open water course here and did some more diving after we got certified. Very friendly and helpfull staff and excellent diving.

I went diving with Lanta Diver and had a good time. They are a big dive operation and have lots of divemasters to keep the size of each group safe. Safety is their main concern and before each dive we had a pre-dive briefing. They pick you up (and drop you off) at your hotel and serve you breakfast and lunch for a full day 2 tank dive day. They also have cool t-shirts in their dive shop.
