This is a summary of many trips in 2006 and 2007, I should split this into separate journals, but have not the time!

Charleston

Another free weekend so why not check out Charleston. Wow, the architecture is amazing, food really good, beaches ok, and an excellent history.

We arrived late on Thursday and ate dinner at Tommy Condon's Irish Pub. Then walked out and grabbed a horse and carriage for a historical tour. I know, sounds cheesy, but it was informative and actually pretty fun. I was even mistaken for a celeb LOLOLOL.

Here's our hit list: Patriot's point, submarine and aircraft carrier as well as a Vietnam exibit. Then took a ferry to Fort Sumter, where the first shots of the civil war were fired. We saw dolphins playing in our bow wave, pretty cool. Next day hit Kiawah Island, and Folly beach. Last day was Isle of Palms.
