I also visited Las Vegas, Nevada. The energy bill here must be SOO massive. They have just got lights for the sake of lights. Some areas weren't quite as tacky as I thought but some others, definately crossed the line. Every hotel has a casino in it so you could get lost in the rows of flashing beeping pokie machine. Luckily, the casinos make soo much money that they actually give you free alcholic beverages from the waitresses that run around. It was good.
I also did the typical Vegas thing and saw a show. There were a lot of feathers on the girls. Hmmm. All the big hotels also have something extra to make you want to stay there. There is a volcano show, tiger enclosures, dancing water jets not to mention all the world famous attractions that have been copied like Eiffel Tower, Venice canals, Coloseum and roman decorations and statues. There was quite a lot to look at just walking around outside all the hotels. I also saw the famous wedding chapel that was just above a casino and only costs you 50 bucks. I couldn't believe that it was so easy to get married. Not sure whether thats good or bad. All round it was great fun!
