Me, Lori, Chris and Rod went out for breakfast at a little cafe close to our hostel. It was awesome. Then Rod had to go meet some buddies so Lori, Chris and I headed off for some Paris sightseeing. We first walked to the Eiffel Tower, which is amazing. Probably my favorite thing in Europe, its gorgeous, I could not stop staring at it. We walked over to the Champs de Mars to sit for a bit and just look at the Eiffel Tower. When we stood up again it turns out that I had sat on a piece of chocolate! Probably one of the only pieces of chocolate there and I had to sit on it...nice.
After the Eiffel Tower we headed in the direction of Les Invalides, a building built for war veterans.
I was expecting a massive line to go in there because of the movie Eurotrip...but there was no line at all! We basically walked right it, which was strange. The staff there were really nice too, Lori and I needed to use a phone to call the Stadium Hostel to cancel our reservation there and we couldn't find a working phone anywhere! We asked where we could find one and the lady let us use theirs! After that was done with we wandered around the Louvre for a bit, it's huge there! We found the Mona Lisa, which isn't hard as theres signs everywhere for it.
After the Louvre we went back to our hostel for a little bit before heading to meet Rod and his friends at their hotel. When we got there we decided to go out for dinner. We walked around for a bit looking for a good place to eat before finding one. I can't remember what it was called but it was pretty reasonably priced and really good.
Then we headed back to the hotel to hang out before heading to the Bastille for the celebrations. We stayed there for a couple hours playing drinking games and then decided to walk to the Bastille.
Chris and I walked back at like 2am to our hostel. Which turned out to be really far away as it took us FOREVER, I'm pretty sure we didn't get back to our hostel till 5 or 6am. It was daylight thats for sure. And the bitchy girls in my room(we had to change rooms that morning) locked the door! So I had to climb throug the window.
