So at about 5am an alarm went off and it was one of the guys in our room. It was really annoying and we were soo tired but eventually he turned it off. Well I guess then when my alarm went off I just shut it off too because at like 7:15 or 7:30Lori wakes me up and tells me the time. We have to be at the train station at like 8. I basically flew out of bed(Lori will back that up). We put on our clothes and were out of our hostel in like 3 minutes I swear. We ran out to the street and tried to get a taxi. We wouldn't be able to take the train because it would take to long but we could not find a taxi! There were none driving by and we didn't know what to do. Eventually a nice French person directed us to a spot where taxis usually go and we basically ran there. On our way we saw a taxi and attempted to hail it down but it kept going, but we saw that it just went to pull to the side of the road.
We ended up getting to the station in time but it was very stressful. Eurostar tickets are very expensive and also non-refundable! So we got there and then went to pick up our tickets and the electronic ticket thing wasn't working so we had to wait in a long line. It took FOREVER! But we got them and then went to the customs area. We lucked out and got to go right to the front pretty much because they just opened a new lineup when we got up there. We got to our train just in time and were dead tired. We slept pretty much the whole way, or I did at least.
We got to London in the afternoon and went back to stupid Picadilly Backpackers.
Chicago was soooo amazing, I absolutely loved it. Words can't even describe how much I loved watching it. So good. After seeing that we went back to our hostel and went to bed. I was really sad, I did NOT want to go home at all. Europe was so much fun and I knew going home meant going back to work and real life:(
