My blog is finally finished!!!Me and Lori backpacked across Europe this summer and had the time of our lives and this is our trip! Also, Lori and I decided to rate our cities out of 10 because train rides are long and we get bored..so I thought I'd share those as we had a lot of fun making them. Heres the criteria /2 Hostel /2 People /2 Nightlife /2 Sites /2 Weather /10 Total but each City can recieve bonus points for whatever we feel like giving it bonus points for.

the Roman Baths and our first club

our amazing hostel!

We took the train to Bath on May 17th, it was a little over an hour if I remember correctly..We had booked St. Christophers and didn't really know where it was so our first task in Bath was to find that. Turns out Bath is pretty small..didn't take us long. It also right next to a grocery store! Pretty convenient I'd say. We checked in but couldn't get into our room yet so we decided to do some exploring. We went up to Bath Abbey and then went into the Roman Baths for a couple hours, which was really interesting. After that we just walked around Bath, crossed the Pultney Bridge, went in some stores. We walked along the Avon river and then walked back to our hostel. It was pretty hot outside too. We went up to the common area and there we met a Kiwi whos friend worked at the hostel. We decided to hang out with them that night. We went and had some dinner at the restaurant/bar in our hostel, where we got a discount because we were staying there. Then we met up with some of the people that worked at the hostel and they took us to a club called Po Na Nas or something like that. I think it was like 7 pounds to get it but it was a lot of fun. There was a roulette table there where the people we were with won a free bottle of champagne that we all shared. It was a lot of fun, people are always surprised when we tell them how much fun we had in Bath.

Bath is a beautiful town, you're right about it being small and there's not much to do after you've done the Abbey and the Baths but it sure is pretty!
