So we headed down to the train station an hour before our train was supposed to leave to reserve a seat. Thaat was a mistake, the train was all booked up. And there were no more trains that day to Barcelona! So we had to take an overnight train to Port Bou or whatever and then switch for a train to Barcelona. But that didn't leave until late that night! So until then we were nomads. We didn't know what to do, so we chilled at the train station for a bit. We phoned home and woke up our sisters at like 2 am their time. Oh well. Then we stored our bags and decided to go to Monte Carlo.
We got on the train to Monte Carlo and it was soo packed! We were squished in there like sardines. The train ride was really short though, we were there in no time. We got off the train and wandered around the docks for a bit.
We went back to the train station area and bought some really delicious gelato. We sat and ate it and people watched for a bit before going to catch a train.
We got back to Nice with time to spare before our train left. The couple we met showed us this awesome store that sold a lot of food and pretty much everything else too. We looked around there for a bit. Then we went to a big mall to look around. I was in dire need of new sandals as the ones I bought in Greece to replace my nice ones were pieces of crap. I found some really nice ones at the Roxy store and bought them. It was very exciting, so exciting that we took pictures.
The train left at 9ish pm I think. It was pretty much filled with backpackers, most of which had planned to take the morning train like us. We talked to the people sitting infront of us for a bit. When we reclined the chairs they guy infront of me reclined his so far back that I couldn't move my feet. It was funny but he didn't even realize. This overnight train was a lot more comfortable for me than the last one. I actually slept the whole way there! Good stuff..
