Being able to live in another country is amazing, but living with friends and hanging out, going to parties, travelling, and having fun is even better. I recently stayed in Germany for a month (way too short), but i had one of the greatest times i've ever had in my entire life. Life is just so laid back there, and school is a breeze; i'm seriously thinking out moving there.

aachen is one of those cities you must visit, not because of its tourist sights, but because of its religious impression on germany.  aachen could be described as a CHURCH TOWN due solely to its focus on christianity.  the good part about this is that weddings and mass are being held constantly, at least when i was there.  during our trip, there were two weddings going on, where we took part in one of them and threw grain at the bride and groom before the slipped into a porsche full of roses and drove off down the rickety, cobblestone pathways.  seeing a german wedding was not that different from america, but being able to participate made my day.  even though it was raining most of the time i was there, life was still buzzing in aachen and the people never slowed down from baking their breads and selling their odds and ends.
