I'm in Chile for the semester finishing up my International Minor in Engineering (Latin America) by taking classes on Latin America's culture, music, history, etc. I'm also rapidly becoming more fluent in Spanish!

meh, at least it's not raining

I spent a half-day here in Ancud on my way to Castro. The city's not much to see. The fort was very disappointing as all it had were 5 cannons, and the museo wasn't amazing (I am probably a bit biased as I've seen about 20 museums in the past two weeks). It seems as if the only reason to go to Ancud is to leave from there to go see the penguin colony, which I've heard is pretty cool.
