Floating Islands
December 3, 2007
Since we were in Puno, we had to go see the floating islands. I enjoyed the trip as it was cheap, and I learned a fair amount (culture of the islands, how they make the islands, etc.). After our tour we had a few hours to kill, so we wandered a bit around the city. I found out that in Puno trees in weird shapes is just as popular as in Arequipa. It must be a Peruvian thing.
