Figs with prosciutto

One of my favorite "salads" or if you want to call it an "appetizer" it would be probably closer to the truth. You won’t find it in all restaurants, and it is more of the modern twist on Dalmatian specialties. Basic one is made of sweet semi hard figs stuffed with Serbian prosciutto. Spread in the middle is "kajmak", very common spread made of milk fat collected after boiling fresh milk. It is incredibly good for you and it does not have any preservatives or chemical ad-ons.  I like kajmak that is fresh and very mild so it does not overpower the taste of figs and prosciutto.
Mix of tastes is perfect and deliciously sharp. To make things even more interesting, arugula is added to the plate. Food is served with fresh white bread, which is perfect for holding the kajmak.
