Frankie Knuckles
Once I'd got back from the festival I went to chill out on the beach for a while. Later in the morning I thought that some sleep might be in order so I went to my tent to try and get a little rest. That turned out to be the worst idea ever because it was really hot so I just sweated instead of sleeping, the solution to my particular predicament? You guessed it, more beer.

Either hung around outside my tent with some friends or down the beach with other friends for the rest of the day. I think I may have had some chinese food from the little stall near the campsite, one of the few times that I ate during the festival.

My friends were all messing about and I was getting impatient but we eventually got up to the festival where I went to the chill out zone to sit on a bean bag, chill out to good music and drink more beer.
Roger Sanchez
Having thought I'd missed Basement Jaxx (one of the people I really wanted to see), I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Lauren Hill had run on so they weren't even on yet, woohoo. Turned out I wasn't disappointed and they were awesome, if a bit short. Next it was Snoop Dogg who I would have liked to have seen but I HAD to go to the dance arena as Frankie Knuckles was one of the main reasons I was there at all and he was on. Again he didn't disappoint and was certainly one of the best things all week. I danced away on the balcony part of the dance arena. Roger Sanchez took over smoothly from Frankie Knuckles so that we didn't even notice other than the name changing on the plasma screen. Again it was an awesome set. I ended up down the front dancing from the middle of his set until they chucked us out in the morning at around 8:30am. Following Roger Sanchez was Justin Martin, I had never heard of him before but I'll definitely be looking to see where he's playing as he was the best person I saw that I'd not heard of. After him there was some guy with a laptop that had about 20 seconds between each track, he played good tunes but I don't really know what that was all about.

The end of another hardcore night of dancing and I wandered back to the campsite.
