I`ll be back writing more about my experienses in Mostar. Meanwhile, be patient, make love not war.

Mostar

Mostar by the river Neretva is over 500 years old.  Parts of the town has been rebuild after the war 1991 - 95.  Wherever you go in Mostar you can see scars after this war, but the town is rising form the ruins.  Stari Most - The Old Bridge (build in 1566), is rebuild, the old stones are brought up from Neretva and jused. Summer 2004 the bridge was reopened.  The old city was in 2005 placed on UNESCO`s trust.

I was born in Bosnia and was very saddened by how much of it was ruined in the war. It makes me happy now that they're rebuilding and that people are willing to give it a chance. Bosnia is a beautiful country that needs to be re-discovered. I'm glad you went there.
