Funny how some times you dont have to travel quite as far as you think you do to find the best things or places. I was not going anywhere exotic this summer but wanted to escape to the beach.

Seagrove

This is really Seagrove beach and unless you like spending lots of money for very little space in Seaside it is a great alternative. there are beautiful beaches all over the world but it always nice to discover or in my case rediscover the ones closer to home. THis is the first time I have been back since Katrina and I was plesantly surprised. There is still sand, the great restaurants are still there and unfortunatly there are still jelly fish in the sea!. But that is what pools were invented for right :) Just what I orderd long lazy days on the beach and an easy stroll to good food and wine.

Being from Florida I can vouch for the jelly fish. I hate those freaking things but they are EVERYWHERE. Amazingly, I've never been stung.
