Last Night in Kuala Lumpur
October 25, 2006
Considering it was my last
night, I bolted to the Petronas Twin Towers to take some night shots,
even though I was dead tired and whilst my head was spinning like no
tomorrow! But I must say it was well worth it.
At first I was running all over the place trying to look for shelter... without any luck I kept on bolting from one place to another while onlookers were probably thinking what the hells going on LOL. Trust me it's impossible to take a night photo in the pouring rain without stuffing up your camera. Eventually after seeking out new spots every 5 minutes I came across an underbridge, which was really appealing when I first spotted it. As I rushed for shelter it became apparent that it was crowded with Malaysian youths. I felt uneasy at first as I pulled out my camera and stood it on the little tripod to try and take photo after photo of the magnificent Petronas Towers.
A few of the youths came up to me and asked me some friendly questions and after that it became a bit more comfortable. I guess I was just paranoid as I'm in a foreign land on my own and where would I run to or who would I shout out for help if something did happen!
To some up my dining in Kuala Lumpur, most of my meals were in Indian restaurants and I must say it was delicious! Hehehe
Anyhow I had a semi early night as my head was throbbing and got up early in the morning to head for Siemreap, Cambodia.
