A quick glance at Bengaluru's top spots!
I took these pictures on the day before my departure. Although Bengaluru is my home and I go often on holiday, this particular trip was a business trip so I didn't get much time to look around. I only had weekends.
So much has been written about Bengaluru the last few years, most of it seems to be related to software companies and 'backend' jobs offshoring to India's Silicon Valley that I thought being a Bangalorian, I'd share the less-techie side and show the more colourful parts of the city with my fellow Travbuddies.
Places to note are the Legislative house Vidhana Soudha and the nice palm tree lined avenue it's on. Also are photos of The Leela Palace which is a five star hotel near Bangalore's horrible international airport. My personal favourite is the panoramic photo I took of the Golf Course during sunrise. Other photos present are some favourite haunts of mine, particularly in South Bengaluru that to this day remains the same as it was in the 80s, barring of course the increase in traffic and people.
