Paros
Paros was definitely a change of pace from Mykonos...a lot smaller to start with! We only had one full day here, but we managed to get quite a bit done.
We did an organised tour with the group which included visiting another party beach (Pounda Beach), climbing in the blazing heat to a hilltop monastery, visiting the small town of Lefkes and surviving a car/bus accident on the way to Monasteri Beach! This beach was kind of cool - it was waist deep for 200 metres out from shore! The other highlight of Paros was getting free Greek ouzo from our waiter one night! Not my cup of tea I tell you! The streets here were quite similar to Mykonos, although not so touristy! We also visited the Church of 100 doors, which was quite interesting, before heading to our next island.
