Madrid - stopover

We decided not to stay in Madrid as our research indicated that it may not interest us as much as other places. But we did still have one night, so took in as much of the city as possible. Our first impression was fairly "grimey" as the street that our hostel was on, was lined with prostitutes!!! And Im talking at 4 in the afternoon!! We walked around the streets (the other streets), and did a little bit of window shopping...our only purchase was an impulse cleansing face mask!!! After dinner we went back to the hostel and had a "girly" night playing with our face masks and watched the only english speaking television station that was on....even though it was kickboxing!!
