HOLA AMIGOS!!
May 9, 2006
For the gringos:
I'm finally here in Buenos Aires, I can't believe it!! I left Houstin 9pm last night, and got in to Buenos Aires 9am this morning. My mom is sleeping in the dorm right now, the staff was kind enough to let her stay the night, instead of having to go find a hotel. We spent the day exploring the city - we saw "The Cathedral" (fantastic!), a statue of San Martin, "The Pink House," the seat of government, and a lot more. Overall, the day was a great history lesson and I loved it. I will be making comments of my own in response to your comments, so be sure to check them! :) I am going to take some pictures and post them here soon, thanks for reading!! -Derek
