everywhere and nowhere: digital memories

Toronto Travel Blog | Travelogue | Travel Journal

When I was 25, embarking on a PhD, I did what many North American university students do, if they are lucky enough to have the chance. I purchased a Eurail pass and saw a bit of the Old World. This blog isn't about that trip. It follows the trip I took 3 years later, when I decided there must be more to life than the Ivory Tower. Unlike the cliches of the time, I hadn't set out to find myself. Nawh: I was bent on losing myself. & I've been lost ever since.

everywhere and nowhere: digital memories

Once upon a time  the world was round and you could go on it around and around.

Everywhere there was somewhere and everywhere there they were men women children dogs cows wild pigs little rabbits cats lizards and animals.  That is the way it was.  And everybody dogs cats sheep rabbits and lizards and children all wanted to tell everybody all about it and they wanted to tell all about themselves....
