Windmills!
June 29, 2007
I don't know about you, but I think windmills are beautiful, so when my boyfriend said he had driven near a windmill farm not too far from Syracuse, I told him we had to go check it out. I've wanted to go for a few months, but I finally just got the chance to.
The weather was perfect...blue sky, not a cloud to be seen, and very comfortable temperature wise. You can see the windmills from one of the major roads that goes through to Lowville, dotting the hills and sticking up majestically from the fields of flower and soon corn. It's really a very nice sight to look at.
Anyway, we got there sometime in the afternoon...there's one road that leads right through the middle of them, and since it's not a busy road at all (we were there for around an hour and only one car drive by us) you can just pull off to the side, get out and take lots of pictures...or just enjoy them for what they are.
