My hometown

So this is where my childhood memories are, where I learnt to walk and ride a bike...a sentimental place I should say.

Praszka is a small town of about 10 000 inhabitants. Not very much is happening here. We have a public pool, two highschools, two churches, a few banks, a post office, a townsquare and a lot of supermarkets....there is unfortunately a lack of a decent pub or cafe.

There is a big unemployment here and so the town is getting older and older since all young people are leaving for the big world. What I love about my hometown is the peace and quiet that I get when I come to visit my parents. There are woods all around and so I usually when I am here I take my bike and vanish in the nature's lands for a few hours....it is a great way to rest from the the city crowds and traffic.
